    Payment

    All purchases must be paid for in FULL before any goods are released. Payment must be received within 7 days of purchase or your order will be cancelled, unless previous notice has been given.

    We accept payment via cheque or money order (payable to Behind The Scenes), Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Switch, Solo, Visa Electron or JCB Cards; all card payments carry a transaction charge of 3%. Please DO NOT send cash through the post to pay for your items. If making payment by cheque, please allow 5 working days for your cheque to clear.

    International buyers wishing to pay by cheque. We only accept cheques in pounds sterling made payable to Behind The Scenes. We DO NOT accept cheques from customers outside of the United Kingdom.

    For security reasons when a credit card is used for payment, we can only ship the item to the registered card holder's address.

     

    Postage Charges

    UK residents can choose to have their 10x8 pictures posted Recorded Delivery (£2.00) or Special Delivery (£5.00). Overseas customers 10x8 pictures are shipped Swift Air Plus Recorded (£9.00). All framed and large items will be shipped Parcel Force Worldwide or DHL. All of these methods will require a signature on delivery. Your item tracking number is available on request. Please allow upto 28 days for delivery, unless previous notice has been given.

    The buyer is responsible for the payment of all import/export duties and taxes resulting from this purchase

    Orders received before 12pm GMT could be despatched on the same day and should arrive within one working day to UK residents, or up to 10 days for overseas customers.

    99.9% of packages arrive safely. However, there are occasions when items do get lost or damaged. If your item gets lost, please allow 28 days for the item to be delivered from the despatch date. If this time elapses and your package has not arrived please contact your local post office to check if the package is being held there. If the package is not being held at your local post office, please contact us and we will start our own investigation into the whereabouts of your package.

    If your item has been damaged by the postal service please contact us immediately via email or telephone and then return the item to us. We will then contact the postal service used and request a refund of the cost of the item less postal charges. This may take up to 6 - 8 weeks for the postal service to issue. A refund is only then issued to the customer once the refund of the item has been paid in full to us from the postal service.

    All packages are insured and we will issue a refund once the post office have investigated the whereabouts or damaged of the package, and compensation has been paid to us.

    PLEASE NOTE Recorded Delivery compensation is a maximum of £27.00 whereas Special Delivery compensation is the exact amount of your item. Please remember this when choosing your prefer method of postage.

     

    Refunds

    Once you have received your goods you have 7 days in which to inform us in writing that you will be returning your purchase for a FULL refund of the cost of the item. You (the buyer) are responsible for all return charges and the safe return of the goods, which should be returned Special Delivery (UK Customers), or DHL (International Customer) or the same method as the item was posted. Goods must also be return in the same condition they were sent with the original Certificate Of Authenticity and Purchase Receipt/Invoice. Your refund will not include your original postage charge.

    Once the goods have been return and inspected a full refund of the cost of the item will be issued in the same form as payment received within 30 days.

    You can return your goods at anytime for authenticity reasons. Items must be return in the same condition they were sent with the original Certificate Of Authenticity and Purchase Receipt/Invoice.

    Refunds are only issued to the original purchaser and NOT to any other person. We retain digital images of all signed items sold for security and authentication purposes.

     

    Auction Sites

    Customers not honouring their purchases made from any of our auction sites will result in appropriate feedback being posted. This will also result in an email being sent to the auction site, informing them that you have not honoured your bid and have therefore broken the Terms & Conditions of their auction site. This will also result in you being removed from our database and you will be unable to bid on any other items we have for sale.

    Any persons or company that leave unfair or slanderous feedback on our website or auction sites will be contacted from our solicitors, who have clear instructions to start legal proceedings against him/her for the potential loss of earnings resulting from these accusations.

    PLEASE NOTE As purchases from auction sites are legal bidding contracts, a refund will only be issued on items that are found not to be authentic. However, as Behind The Scenes collect the majority of their items "In Person", this should and will not ever arise.
